Curious?

It never fails! Everyone wants to know "What does your nickname mean?" Let's just go ahead and get it out of the way now. haha Sprout is a nickname that I acquired in High School. Remember Jolly Green Giants little friend? Sprout !! You guessed it - everyone is taller then me, or so it seems. Strangely enough though, I've always felt 10' tall. haha Now there is nothing too exciting about the "DL" portion of the nickname. Only first and middle initial. Hence: SproutDL

I am happily married with a total of two children and I am getting a taste of my "Golden Years" since they have both moved out. Our oldest purchased her first home before she was twenty one and is a Certified Medical Coder and office manager. Our youngest is enjoying living with her roommates and trying to find her place and calling in life.

As a family we enjoy scuba diving and we have dove at Epcot in the Living Seas.  What a wonderful experience!  And, for those who do know me, yes, I was in the tank with the sharks too!!! I still can't believe it myself sometimes but I did it.  YEAH for me!!! 

In May 2010 I graduated with my Associates in Applied Science and Medical Assisting and obtained my Certified Medical Assistant status.  Like many others I have struggled to find a job ever since. Now I have plenty of time on my hands and thought I would see how I liked being a freelance writer. Time will tell.
